Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the dress code for Saturday?

We kindly request black tie attire (tuxedos or floor-length gowns/jumpsuits/formal sets) for Saturday’s events. All events will be indoors.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes, we will be providing transportation to the events on both Friday and Saturday.

  • On Friday, a bus will shuttle guests between Hotel Kansas City and J. Rieger & Co. for our welcome party.

  • On Saturday, buses will shuttle guests between Hotel Kansas City (the reception venue) & the Cathedral downtown (where the wedding ceremony will take place).

Please visit this page for more information on where to find the bus and the departure times. If you opt for other transportation, ubers/lyfts are widely available, and parking is available at J. Rieger & Co., the Cathedral, and Hotel Kansas City (Valet only).

What else should I do while I’m in town?

On Friday night (5/8) we will be hosting a welcome party for all guests from 8:00 - 10:30PM at J. Rieger & Co (see our “Weekend Details” page for more)! For more inspiration, visit this page on our website for our favorite Kansas City spots for food, drinks, and fun!

How and when do I RSVP?

Thank you for submitting your RSVP! Our RVSP’s are now closed.

What is the deadline to book a hotel room in the room block?

The Hotel Kansas City room block with reserved pricing will expire 1 month prior to our event, but you’re welcome to make your hotel reservation at any time! That said, we recommend booking soon; with the World Cup happening in Kansas City in June 2026 (!), the hotel is anticipating higher demand than normal with press and teams arriving in May as well as the usual weddings, graduation events, and more.

Can I bring my children?

Our wedding will be adults only, with the exception of our nieces and nephews. Thanks for your understanding!
