What is the deadline to book a hotel room in the room block?

The Hotel Kansas City room block with reserved pricing will expire 1 month prior to our event, at which point any remaining rooms will be released back to the hotel. We ask that you make any final bookings no later than April 8th. That said, we recommend booking early; with the World Cup happening in Kansas City in June 2026 (!), the hotel is anticipating higher demand than normal in May for weddings, graduation events, and more.

Can I bring my children?

Our wedding will be adults only, with the exception of our nieces and nephews. Thanks for your understanding!

What is the dress code for Saturday?

We kindly request black tie attire (tuxedos or long gowns/jumpsuits/formal sets) for Saturday’s events. All events will be indoors.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes, we will be providing transportation to & from Hotel Kansas City (reception venue) and the Cathedral downtown (wedding venue) on Saturday. If you opt for other transportation, ubers/lyfts are widely available and there is also a parking lot at the church.

What else should I do while I’m in town?

On Friday night (5/8) we will be hosting a welcome party for all guests at J. Rieger & Co (see our “Weekend Details” page for more)! We will also be updating the site with our favorite Kansas City spots for food, drinks, and fun - stay tuned!
